Spreading the cost solves that specific problem. It is not cheaper in the long run — over five years, paying once is usually the better deal and we say so plainly on our pricing page. What it does is make the decision small enough to actually take, and it moves the risk onto us: we only do well if the site keeps working for you.

The honest bit
The trade-offs, stated plainly
Pay-monthly is a good deal for a lot of businesses and a poor one for a few. These are the three things you should weigh before choosing it.
You commit for 12 months
That is how the build cost gets recovered. It is a real commitment and you should treat it as one. After the minimum term it runs month to month with 30 days’ notice.
You rent rather than own, at first
Until you buy the site out, we own the build. Your domain and your content are always yours, and we will hand both over on request whatever happens. But if owning the asset outright from day one matters to you, buy it outright — we sell that from £1,495.
Past about four years, paying once is cheaper
On our own numbers, £45 a month overtakes a £1,495 build plus care at around year four. If you are confident you will keep the site that long and have the capital now, that is the better financial decision and we will tell you so.
What it costs
Pay-monthly plans run from £45 a month for a five-page site up to £120 a month for an online shop — design, build, hosting, support and monthly changes all included, with nothing to pay upfront.
Prefer to own it outright? One-off builds start at £1,495.
Pay-monthly questions
Is this a credit agreement?
No. There is no finance company, no credit check and no interest. It is a service subscription with a minimum term, in the same way a phone contract or a business broadband line is. You are paying for an ongoing service that happens to include the build.
What happens at the end of the 12 months?
Nothing changes automatically. The plan continues month to month at the same price, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice at any point after that. There is no price jump at renewal and no automatic re-commitment to another year.
Can I buy the site outright later?
Yes, at any time. You pay the remaining balance of the original build cost and we transfer the files and the domain. The figure is calculated the same way for everybody and we will tell you what it is before you commit to anything.
What if my business closes?
Talk to us. We have never held a business that has genuinely stopped trading to the remainder of a term, and we are not going to start. Tell us what has happened and we will sort something out.
