How this estimate is worked out
Our own figures are exact: they are the published prices from our pricing page, and they do not change based on what you tell the calculator. The Starter plan is £45 a month whether you find it here or on the phone.
The comparison figures are the indicative UK ranges from our cost guide, scaled for the scope you selected. They are a sense of the market, not a quote from anybody, and a real quote may well land outside them. We show them because the most common thing people tell us is that they had no reference point at all.
Online payments, a booking system, customer logins, more than about twenty pages, or content that needs writing from scratch across the whole site. If any of those apply, the estimate above is a floor rather than a price, and it is worth a twenty-minute conversation.

What it costs
Pay-monthly plans run from £45 a month for a five-page site up to £120 a month for an online shop — design, build, hosting, support and monthly changes all included, with nothing to pay upfront.

About the estimate
Is this estimate binding?
The monthly plan prices are, because they are our published prices and they apply to everyone. The one-off build figures are a starting point — we confirm a fixed price once we know the scope, and that fixed price does not move afterwards unless you ask for something new.
Why do you show what competitors charge?
Because we would rather you compared properly than took our word for it. If the comparison shows a freelancer would serve you better on price, that is useful information and you should act on it. We are trying to win the jobs we are genuinely the right fit for.
Will I get sales calls if I use this?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing. We only hear from you if you choose to submit the enquiry form, and even then it is one reply from one person, not an automated sequence.
